The BSS School was declared the Under 19 Skating Competition All Round winner with a medal tally of 3 gold and 2 silver. The event was organized by CISCE and was held at The Heritage School.
The BSS School won second place at a short play competition organized by the American Centre.
Sharanya Das of class 6B, secured first prize in All India Singing Competition organized by Heritage Foundation of Art and Culture.
The “Plate Up” culinary competition was successfully held on May 13th, 2023 at Sri Sri Academy in Kolkata. The event’s selected theme, “Synergy between Flora and Fauna” attracted participation from about eight schools, each of which put on a performance as a team consisting of a teacher and a student. The BSS team, Ms Richa Mundra, assistant teacher along with a student named Rokinee Sengupta of XI science bagged the first prize showcasing the underwater food carving sea bed to underline the interconnection of varied marine elements.
Our student Ishani Sarkar was awarded a certificate of recognition for her outstanding contribution and dedication while working with famed author Ruskin Bond.
On 10th July our students,Aratrika Datta of 10 C and Rahla Nicolleta Ray from 9 B participated in the Frank Anthony Memorial All India InterSchool Debate Competition, Category 2 . They won both Best Team and Best Speaker. They now qualify for the next round which will be held in the second week of August.
Modern High School For Girls hosted a two day inter-school fest, Maitree on the 12th and 13th of July. Our students participated in all the events and were declared the first runners up in a grand prize giving ceremony. We also won the first prize in ”Walk the Wall” which was a fashion show with a business pitch. Twenty nine students had participated in this prestigious fest.
