The BSS School proudly hosted SPARKLE 2026, its vibrant inter-school festival, on 23rd and 24th July, bringing together students from across the city for two days of creativity, performance and spirited participation. Inspired by the vibrant world of Zootopia, this year’s fest came alive as young participants showcased exceptional talent across a variety of artistic, cultural and skill-based events.

The first day welcomed students from Classes UKG to III for a series of engaging, non- competitive events. The campus buzzed with enthusiasm as the youngest participants transformed simple materials into imaginative creations and delighted the audience with heartwarming stage performances.

The festivities were inaugurated by Dr. Suman Sood, Director and Principal, B.D. Memorial Jr. School, and National Core Committee Member of the Early Childhood Association, who graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. She joined the school’s administrative team in lighting the ceremonial lamp, marking the formal inauguration of SPARKLE 2026. The ceremony was followed by a captivating dance performance by the students of The BSS School, setting an
inspiring tone for the two-day celebration.

Students enthusiastically participated in a range of thoughtfully curated events, including Paws & Petals (Line Art Bouquet Making), Wild Remix (Mix and Match Animal Creation), Creatopia (Animal Collage Making), Shadowix (Animals in Silhouette Art), Narratives from Beyond (Storytelling) and Wild Moves (Group Dance). The day concluded with resounding applause for the young participants, who impressed everyone with their creativity, confidence and teamwork.

The second day featured participants from Classes IV and V, who displayed remarkable artistic, culinary, technological, and theatrical abilities through events such as Ecogenius (Scientific Workable Model Making), Zootopia Story Studio (Digital Storytelling using Canva), Flavours of the Wild (Culinary Creations), I Am… (Elevator Speech), Be My Human (Advertise Your Animal), Echoes of Vanalok (Beatboxing and Percussion), Wild Elegance (Fashion Show) and Ready Steady Kho (Kho Kho).

SPARKLE 2026 provided a meaningful platform for students to express their creativity, develop their talents and interact with peers from 16 participating schools. Over the two days, The BSS School witnessed an inspiring celebration of imagination, discipline, collaboration and youthful energy, reaffirming its commitment to nurturing talent and celebrating every child’s unique potential.
