India’s first culinary competition pioneered by IIHM, The Junior Chef India Schools 2023, displayed the talent and enthusiasm of juniors for cooking. The competition saw active participation from about 20 renowned schools, which consisted of three stages: preliminary round, regional semifinals, and finals. Among the finalists, Renaissance Saha and Sompriya Majumdar represented The BSS School. Both of them secured a spot for the eagerly anticipated finals on May 12th, 2023, by qualifying both rounds of the preliminary competition and the regional semifinals. Showcasing remarkable talents and originality, Renaissance Saha bagged 3rd prize among 15 finalists, proving her culinary aptitude and promise for a bright career in the industry.
