Class V Project Work
Social Studies Project : Land Breeze and Sea Breeze
As part of their Social Studies project work, the students of Class V explored the fascinating natural phenomena of land breeze and sea breeze. Through charts and creative presentations, they learned how the uneven heating of land and water causes the movement of air. The project helped them understand why we feel cool breeze near the sea during the day and warm breeze from the land at night. This hands-on activity not only strengthened their knowledge of geography but also developed their observation and presentation skills
Mathematics Project: Symmetry and Nets of Solids
This project on “Symmetry and Nets of Solids” helps students understand important geometric concepts in a fun and creative way. Through this activity, students explore different types of symmetry found in nature, art, and monuments. They learn how objects can be divided into equal parts through lines of symmetry and mirror images. The project also introduces nets of 3D solids such as cubes, cones, and cylinders, helping students see how flat shapes can be folded to form solid figures. By combining drawings, origami, and real-life examples, the project encourages observation, creativity, and a deeper understanding of shapes and structures in the world around us.
