On 15th March2024, 15 students and a teacher from The BSS School attended the Special Tram Exhibition related to philately in connection with 250 years celebration of Kolkata GPO.

The students participated in a quiz competition held inside the tram and the children performed brilliantly. Shoumili Ghosh of class VII B won the first prize. All the students were given stamps and caps as tokens in honor of the celebration. Refreshments were served and live music was also organized inside the tram during their ride to Esplanade from Gariahat tram depot.

It was an excellent opportunity for students to learn about the history of the first ever GPO in the country. The tram ride was extremely enjoyable and children also joined in the live music on their journey back.
