Annual Prize Distribution Day – Classes 6 to 12

The Annual Prize Distribution Ceremony for Classes 6 to 12 was a grand celebration of academic excellence, creativity, compassion, and community service. Parents were cordially invited to witness the achievements of their children and the vibrant spirit of the school.

The event was graced by the presence of several distinguished guests whose support and encouragement added to the significance of the occasion. Among them were Ms. Swati Gautam, Founder-CEO of her brand NecessitySwatiGautam and an active contributor to the NGO Pukaar; Ms. Hilda Peacock, respected Academic Consultant; Ms. Shanta Krishnan, Dean of Academics at The BSS School; and Ms. Dipti Khaitan, Additional Secretary of The BSS School. Their inspiring words motivated students to pursue their passions with purpose and compassion.

Also present were Ms. S. Sen, Principal of the institution, and Ms. S. Pincha, Headmistress, whose constant support and guidance have been instrumental in shaping the students’ holistic development.

Students were awarded not only for academic excellence across various subjects, but the event also shone a spotlight on values beyond the classroom. Special awards were given to students who demonstrated empathy and kindness towards their peers and to also for several ECA categories. Budding artists from the school were applauded for their remarkable contribution to environment through mural paintings near the tram depot and for beautifying the nursery classroom walls with their art.

The event also honoured the young changemakers behind the Online Foundational English for Rural Development (OFERD) initiative. Student teachers and their dedicated teacher coordinator were felicitated for conducting online English classes for students in rural areas, bridging educational gaps with passion and commitment.

The ceremony concluded with a message of encouragement and inspiration, celebrating not just accomplishments, but also the values that define true education.
